Can't Help Singing Dates: July 14th -21st 2007 An upbeat musical story story set in the late 1940's. Jubilantly rebuilding their lives after the war, people find romance, humour, hope and the fulfilment of dreams in the convivial surroundings of a luxury hotel. Just as importantly, the show features the wonderful music of that era with something to please everybody with lyrical love songs, lively dance numbers, boogie-woogie, comedy duets, dramatic ballads, close harmony, Latin-American rhythms and Rock and Roll. An evening of laughter, fun, nostalgia, delight and maybe a few tears. Includes well known songs such as ZIP-A-DEE-DOO-DA, YOU MAKE ME FEEL SO YOUNG, BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE,
ALMOST LIKE BEING IN LOVE
and ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK
